Tranquil Outdoor Spaces is powered by a name trusted across Auckland since the 1980s. Led by qualified builder and pool specialist Steve Mabbett, this new chapter brings everything the team’s known for — quality, reliability, and no-fuss site management — into a fresh, design-focused offering.

A builder by trade and a problem-solver by nature, Steve has been installing pools and landscaping for over four decades. He’s built hundreds of residential setups across Auckland and is the go-to guy for tricky sites, tight access, and doing things properly the first time.
Steve leads our installation team from the ground up — often literally — and brings an unbeatable combo of technical know-how and straight-up advice. No fluff, just solutions that work
Sharon Pipkin
Design Coordinator & Project Lead
Sharon is the organiser, communicator, and client champion. She’s there from the first site visit (usually with Steve beside her) to help shape the vision of your space — standing in the space with you, imagining the finished product.
Once the project is underway, Sharon takes the reins on everything behind the scenes: timelines, accessory orders, and regular updates so you always know what’s happening next. And if the site’s short-handed, she’s there in her boots helping it all run smoothly. Just don’t blame her when the invoice turns up — she’s the one who sends those too.
